Summary: NeverEat is built with a strict Privacy-First philosophy. We do not require registration, we do not collect personal information, we do not track your location, we do not charge real credit cards, and we never sell your data to third parties.

1. Introduction

NeverEat ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed as a simulated food ordering and craving-relief application. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, usage, and disclosure when you use the NeverEat application for iOS.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

When you use the NeverEat application, we do NOT collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

  • No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
  • No Real Financial or Payment Data: All checkout procedures in the App are completely simulated using demo numbers (e.g., card number 4242...). No real credit card or bank account information is ever processed or transmitted.
  • No Precise Location Data: The App does not access your GPS coordinates or device location services.
  • No Biometric or Sensitive Data: We do not access FaceID, TouchID, microphone, or camera data. The incoming phone call feature is an in-app simulated audio playback and does not use telecommunication networks.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a seamless experience, NeverEat stores a minimal amount of configuration data directly on your local device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults):

  • Language Preferences: Your selected app language (English, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese).
  • Onboarding Status: Whether you have completed the initial language selection screen.
  • Simulated Cart & Order History: Your temporary mock orders and items added to the virtual cart.

This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never uploaded to any remote server or third-party cloud service.

4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

NeverEat does NOT integrate third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or user behavior tracking tools. We do not participate in cross-app tracking or data brokering.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

Because NeverEat does not collect any personal information from any user, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The application is safe for users of all ages.

6. Data Deletion and Retention

Because all configuration and mock order data reside strictly in your local device sandbox, deleting or uninstalling the NeverEat application from your iOS device will instantly and permanently erase all locally stored data.

7. Security

We value your trust. Even though no sensitive personal or financial information is collected, the application adheres to Apple's iOS security standards and sandboxing requirements.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
